Terms of Use
Effective 2026-10-30 · Polaris AI Chat & Assistant by Polaris AI Chat & Assistant
These Terms of Use are the ground rules for using Polaris AI Chat & Assistant (the app), provided by Polaris AI Chat & Assistant (we, us). They are written to be read, not skimmed past, so take a moment with them. If something is unclear, ask us. These terms are effective as of 2026-10-30.
Using the app means agreeing
By downloading, opening or using Polaris, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, the right step is simply not to use the app.
What you are allowed to do
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Polaris on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and Apple's App Store rules. This licence lets you use the app; it does not transfer ownership of the app to you.
Exploring responsibly
Ask freely, explore follow-ups, think things through. We only ask that you do not use Polaris to break the law, harm or harass others, create content that infringes someone else's rights, attempt to access our backend or systems without permission, reverse engineer or copy the app, interfere with its operation, or use automated means to overload it. We may limit or end access for uses that cross these lines.
An honest word about AI answers
Responses in Polaris are generated automatically. They can be useful, and they can also be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong. Treat them as a starting point for your own thinking, not as professional advice. For medical, legal, financial or safety matters, check with a qualified person before acting.
Subscriptions, billing and cancelling
Paid features are sold through the Apple App Store using Apple In-App Purchase. Apple charges your Apple ID, and subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends, following Apple's terms. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us.
Who owns what
The app itself, including its design, software, name, branding and other materials, belongs to Polaris AI Chat & Assistant and is protected by intellectual property laws. What you type into the app remains yours. As between you and us, you may use the responses generated for you, subject to these Terms and any rights others may hold in similar material. You give us permission to process your input on our backend so we can generate responses and run the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share whatever you submit.
No guarantees
Polaris is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that generated content will be accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polaris AI Chat & Assistant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or from reliance on generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
If these terms change
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or on its App Store listing. Continuing to use Polaris after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Questions and contact
Wondering about any part of these Terms? Contact Polaris AI Chat & Assistant through the developer contact or support link on the app's App Store page. We would rather you ask than guess. Effective date: 2026-10-30.
